Phd and Postdoc Position in Biology
Post-Doctoral Research Scientist, Epigenetic Gene Regulation
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to study epigenetic gene regulation by Polycomb Repressive Complexes 1 (PRC1) in embryonic and adult stem cell fate decisions and self-renewal.The post holder will be involved in a project based on exciting preliminary results which involves understanding the role different PRC1 complexes play in embryonic and adult stem cell self renewal and differentiation using a genome wide binding/transcriptome analysis approach.
Post-Doctoral Researcher, Nanobiosciences / Nanotechnology
he Institute for Health and Consumer Protection is one of the seven scientific institutes of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, located in Ispra, Italy. Its competences range from toxicology, molecular biology, validation of testing methods (chemical, biological, toxicological), to material sciences, surface chemistry and engineering, computational chemistry and bioinformatics.
Post-doctoral Researcher Cell Biologist / Cellular Microbiologist
Applications are invited for a full-time postdoctoral fellow to work on the role of bacterial multigene family proteins in the host-pathogen interaction. The research involves the identification of target proteins and networks by high-throughput protein interactomics and the use of molecular and cell biological approaches to dissect specific interactions relevant to infection and their mechanisms.
Postdoctoral Research Associate- Molecular Biology and Biotechnology
The successful applicant will work on a project “The Actin-Endocytosis Interface” which aims to identify and characterise factors that regulate actin polymerisation during the endocytic process, a significant proportion of the study will focus on the model organism Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The successful applicant should have a PhD in a relevant subject area (or equivalent experience) and have appropriate research and data analysis skills.
Post-doctoral Fellow- computational modeling for terrestrial plant ecosystems with clonal growth.
INRIA, the French national institute for research in computer science and control, is dedicated to fundamental and applied research in information and communication science and technology (ICST). INRIA has a workforce of 3,800 people working throughout its eight research centres established in seven regions of France.
Biophysics postdoctoral fellowship
Recent progress in studying the role of myosins in membrane traffic has provided new insight on the link between these motors and other protein machineries involved in trafficking. The challenge now is to understand the molecular mechanisms by which these myosins contribute to membrane traffic and whether they act in a coordinated way with the other protein complexes to control the shape of organelles.
Post-Doctoral Position, Development of Bioanalytical Methods for Protein Profiling and Quantification
The Joint Research Centre in Geel, Belgium, is at the forefront of new analPytical methods and quality assurance instruments for bioanalysis. IRMM collaborates with other metrology institutes for the project ClinBioTrace, which focusses on the development of new methods for protein characterisation, profiling and quantification.
