ICRISAT Biochemistry Scientific Officer Vacancy for MSc
ICRISAT invites applications from Indian nationals for the post of Scientific Officer (Entomology) to be based at Patancheru, Andhra Pradesh, India. This is a nationally recruited position.
Responsibilities:
- Execute experiments on host plant resistance to insect pests under laboratory and field conditions
- Carry out work on molecular aspects of insect plant intersections using HPLC, electrophoretic, and biochemical analysis of proteins/enzymes and the secondary metabolites associated with resistance to insects.
- Insect rearing and handling of chemicals and equipment in the laboratory.
- Providing support to staff/students in bio-chemical analysis.
