The Department of Neuroscience has a 4-year PhD position available.The applicant will perform research on brain ageing, with emphasis on glia senescence. Glia senescence will be studied using rapid cell isolation and cell culturing, (epi)genetic analysis of ageing glia phenotypes and analysis of glia function using advanced microscopy.
